From the first spray it filled up the whole room and the luxurious notes of the saffron and sandalwood was opulent and rich. The ingredients are natural and of the finest quality. It lasted over 24 hours and when I open my wardrobe I I can still smell it on my jacket . So proud that an Indian perfumery is creating such high quality niche fragrances. Santal Safran, as the name suggests, opens up with precious Iranian Indian Indian Saffron also known as "Red Gold." The saffron note gives it a fresh, spicy,earthy,leathery, bittersweet opulent opening that projects and fills the entire room from the initial spray. The ingredient quality used is the finest!!!
The real magic starts as the perfume transitions into middle and base notes, where Sandalwood comes in the picture,which has creamy, woody notes. This is real sandalwood with no synthetic notes. The sandalwood ,musk notes are the prominent notes for the entire journey. This is the best sandalwood perfume I have tried, and it competes with Santal 33 (Le Labo).
PS Short Story: I got to know about this brand from Scentido (Mumbai) and loved sampling all the offerings. I wanted to still give it a try, but lately they are offering 10 ml decants, which is the best initiative as this gives us the opportunity to sample products and then order full presentations.

This is a Power House perfume, with the saffron note projecting for 1~1.5 hours and the creamy sandalwood notes leaving the best sillage and scent trail. The sandalwood notes stay on the skin for 7~8 hours and on the clothes for almost the entire day. This creates a perfume bubble around you, and it will be noticed by everyone around you.
The presentation of 10 mL samples is also great, with sleek 10 mL bottles that are easy to carry!
I am proud to see this Indian house making niche products!
